1 Measures against infectious diseases

Last updated on March 14, 2019.

Let's wash your hands thoroughly!

When clean water, such as tap water, is supplied

Make sure you wash your hands with soap.
What is the timing of hand washing?

  • Before cooking
  • Before meals
  • After the toilet
  • After changing diapers

That's right.
※Wash your palms, back of your hand, between fingers, and fingertips.
※Wet tissues, disinfecting alcohol, masks, soap, etc. are not in the emergency storage room. After the disaster, make use of what was appropriate for each household.

When clean water is not supplied

Keep your hands clean with wet tissue or disinfecting alcohol. If you cannot wash your hands, do not touch the ingredients directly by hand.

About cough etiquette

When coughing or sneezing, hold your mouth and nose with a tissue to prevent fine splashes (splashes) flying from your mouth and nose, and turn your face away from people around you.
Immediately discard tissues containing sputum and nasal discharge in a trash can with a lid.
If you have symptoms, wear a mask correctly and try to prevent infection.
※If you are coughing or sneezing, explain and practice cough etiquette.
※If possible, make the coughing patient and others separate rooms.
※If you are worried about the spread of infection, consult with the ward disaster headquarters Medical Coordinator.
