To prevent food poisoning

When storing food

  • In order to make effective use of the distributed food, check the expiration date and expiration date of the distributed food, and distribute from the one with the shortest time as possible.
  • Let's throw away expired items.
  • When storing food, keep it in a cool place that is not exposed to the sun as much as possible. At this time, if you store the one with a short expiration date in the foreground and the one with a long expiration date in the back, it will be easier to put in and out (first-in) the stored food.

※As a Japanese habit, some people say that they eat later because they are wasteful, but if they spend longer time eating, food poisoning is more likely to occur. Distribute the amount you can eat even in the event of a disaster, and discard the leftover food.

For those who are on duty in supply of hot meals and those who are engaged in cooking

  • If you are sick, do not engage in supply of hot meals or cooking work.
  • Be sure to wash your hands with soap.
  • Use disposable plastic gloves for cooking.
  • Cooking utensils such as kitchen knives and cutting boards should be disinfected with boiling water and used.
