Private use of waterways (general sewerage)

Rain that falls on the ground flows along the slope into the waterway. Waterways play a role as a saucer for rainwater.
Waterways (so-called ordinary rivers) are stipulated as general sewers (outside sites) in the Yokohama City Sewerage Ordinance (outside sites).
When we occupy waterway site by setting of bridge and passage for entering and exiting houses, setting of gas, water supply service pipe, setting of telephone pole, general sewer private use permission is necessary.

When you are going to establish article in waterway site newly, please submit general sewer private use permission application (PDF: 130KB) after consideration for standard processing period before private use.
The attached books will be a sketch (guidance map), a floor plan, a cross-section, a detailed view of the property, a public-private boundary map (public map or road waterway boundary survey map) and a quadrature map (in some cases, consent form or reason book etc.) May be asked).
