Electronic application and procedures for National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) by mail using the minor portal
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, the following procedures for National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) can be submitted electronically (minor portal) or by mail. If you wish to apply by mail, please check the documents required for the notification in advance and enclose the required documents and mail it. Please note that if there are any omissions in required items or missing required documents, documents will be returned.

Procedures for National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) by electronic application using minor portal
If you have a My Number card, you can apply electronically from the minor portal. ※You can also apply electronically from your smartphone.

Procedures for electronic application
① Procedures for joining National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) No. 1 insured persons (changes from Employees' Pension Insurance after Retirement) (external site)
※ When payment of additional premium (outside site) is hoped for, please file by mail or window of ward office.
② Application for exemption from National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) insurance premiums and postponement of payment (outside site)
③ Application for special payment of National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) premium student payment (outside site)
Preparation for use
1 Please prepare the password set when you received your "My Number Card" and My Number Card.
2. Access the minor portal and complete the user registration procedure.

※The procedure to switch from National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) to Employee Pension Plan (Kosei Nenkin) or No. 3 insured is at your place of work, and you do not need to go to the ward office.
※Applications for special student payments, exemptions, and grace can be traced back to the past two years. (However, in principle, this excludes the period already paid.)
On May 1, 2020, special procedures for special procedures for the event that it becomes difficult to pay National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) premiums due to the impact of the COVID-19 infectious disease.
