When the Shogunate (political place) was established in Kamakura, a port was needed to carry things, but the sea of Kamakura was shallow and it was difficult to stop the ship when the waves were high, so the east `` Rokuura Minato "was replaced.
Rokuura Minato was a port that supported the lives of samurai and farmers living in Kamakura. "Asainagiridori" was created to create a road connecting Kamakura and Rokuura Minato.
※"Asahina" has been used as a place name since ancient times, but the official name of the nationally designated historic site is "Asaina Kiridori".
