In 2018, which is the 70th anniversary of the constituency system, we will carry out a project commemorating the 70th anniversary of the constituency system in collaboration with local action groups, companies and designated managers in the city, and universities. In fiscal 2018, the 70th anniversary of the constituency system, two commemorative ceremonies will be held: May 15, 2018, the day of enforcement of the constituency system, and February 2, 2019, when the new public hall is completed.

On May 15, 2018, the “Kanazawa Ward 70th Anniversary Kick-off Event (tentative name)” will be held as the beginning of the year commemorating the 70th anniversary of the constituency system.

On February 2, 2019, when the New Kanazawa public hall is completed, a ceremony commemorating the completion of the New Kanazawa public hall (to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the constituency system) will be held at Nojima in the New Kanazawa public hall Hall.
In addition, from the commemorative ceremony on Saturday, February 2, 2019 to Sunday, February 24, is designated as "Shin-Kanazawa public hall Kokera Falling Month (tentative name)" and groups operating in the ward, traditional public hall use groups (recruiting participating groups through the Executive Committee last year and accepting them) will hold performances of traditional performing arts groups (e.g. performances and performances of groups in the ward).

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Kanazawa Ward System and the completion of the New Kanazawa public hall, the Executive Committee aims to donate a full concert grand piano (Steinway) to express the feelings of Kanazawa residents, lead to the development of Kanazawa Ward, and give dreams and hopes to the next generation of children.
In addition to the purchase of grand pianos from donations, we plan to launch “Fireworks (tentative)” commemorating the 70th anniversary of the constituency system at the Kanazawa Festival in 2018 and advertise it.
