When applying for "nursing care benefits" or "communal living support (when bathing, excretion or nursing care such as meals)" among benefits such as training, a disability support category is required.
The disability support category is an index that indicates the level of standard support required according to the disability characteristics and mental and physical condition, and is examined and certified according to a standard different from the grade in the Handbook for Persons with Disabilities.

Disability support category is certified based on the results of the disability support category certification examination committee. Classification is "Not applicable", "Category 1" to "Category 6", and the certification validity period is certified between 6 months and 3 years.
