"Hinokawa Road" Study Group ※The Study Group ended on March 8, 2023.
The mutatis mutandis river Hinokawa is currently undergoing renovation work from Hinobashi to Goshogaya Bridge. The Hinokawa Road Study Group, which is mainly composed of representatives from the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, has been set up to discuss the utilization of the river and on the plaza along the way in line with the renovation work, to develop basic plans forpromenade and the plazas along the way. In fiscal 2012, we held a total of four workshops, including on-site surveys, and received various opinions from the study group.
In formulating the basic concept, we introduce the activities of the study group with representatives of the basin as the main members.
Basic Concept
At the Hinokawa Road Study Group, the concept of the Hinokawa promenade was to create a safe and secure environment, create a space where children and the elderly can relax and enjoy, and create a rich landscape with a focus on greenery and flowers.
In addition, the entire section was divided into "promenade Zone" and "Plaza / Water Zone", and each maintenance policy was repeatedly examined while thinking about how local people are resting and utilizing it in the future.
