Konan Ward Consumer Affairs Promotion Association

In Konan Ward, 117 consumer life promotion staff members conduct educational activities such as learning sessions and training sessions, as well as circulation of circulars. (As of May 2022)
We have about two district representatives selected in each district, and we hold the "Consumer Life Promotion Member District Representative Meeting" once or two months. .

It is issued once a year, and introduces activities for each district.

At Konan Children's Dream World, which is held every November, the Konan Ward Consumer Affairs Promotion Association is exhibiting booths.
We hold flea markets in the morning and eco-crafts for children in the afternoon.
※In fiscal 2021, due to the impact of COVID-19, there was a change in the method of holding the Children's Dream World.
　We were unable to exhibit at the booth.

We conduct facility tours to learn about environmentally friendly initiatives by companies.
In fiscal 2019, we toured court facilities and listened to criminal trials at the Yokohama District Court in order to learn about consumer problems.
※In fiscal 2021, the facility tour was canceled due to the impact of the new coronavirus.

At local and ward events, we display panels and other information to provide consumer life information.
In fiscal 2020, a panel exhibition was held at the ward hall on the first floor of the Konan Ward Office.

We operate a reuse information bulletin board in front of the elevator on the first floor of the Konan Ward Office.
