"Himawari Square" is a public information Yokohama Konan Ward version issued on the 1st of every month to inform you of events organized by residents of the city.
If you would like to publish, please check the following posting criteria and submit the submission form by the posting deadline.
If you submit a submission form, you will be deemed to have agreed to the following posting criteria.
Listing Standards
Those who can publish
Representatives such as individuals or groups living or working in the city
Prohibited items
If any of the following items apply, publication will not be accepted.
- If the venue or activity location of the event is not a public facility or location in Konan Ward
- When there is a risk of damaging or insulting a person's honor
- If the content is obviously false
- If the content is related to politics or religion
- For commercial purposes
- When it is intended for all city areas
- When it is intended only for some areas in the ward
- If the same content is described within the past six months
- If the content violates other laws and regulations
Date of publication
Those that do not require advance application (free participation on the day)
The date of the event will be from the 11th of the issue month to the 10th of the following month.
Those that require advance application
[In case of first-come, first-served basis] The application start date will be posted from the 11th of the issue month to the 10th of the following month.
[In case of lottery] The deadline for acceptance is from the 21st of the issue month to the 20th of the following month.
Others
- Due to the limited space, it may not be possible to post if the number of posts is large.
- Information may be changed or adjusted when posting.
- Articles posted will also be posted on the Konan Ward web page.
How to post
Please fill out the form and submit it by fax or directly to Public Relations Section Ward Administration Promotion Division, Konan Ward Office.
The deadline for posting is the 10th, two months before the desired publication month (if the 10th is a closed day, the previous open day).
Example: If you want to publish in the June issue, April 10 (if the 10th is a closed day, the previous open day)

Flow after posting
Public Relations Yokohama Konan Ward Editorial Conference will consider whether or not it can be published. If it is not possible to post, we will contact you by phone, and if it becomes possible to post, ask for proofreading. However, please note that even if it is possible to post it, if you do not cooperate with the proofreading, such as when there is no return by the specified deadline, we will not post an article.
