 While promoting the 4th Konan Himawari Plan (Community Welfare and Health Plan), which was formulated with local residents, we value the face-to-face relationship with "with Corona", watch over and support each other in the community, and promote the "community development* through collaboration" where everyone can live lively.

※What is "community development through collaboration"?
 In activities for local residents to work on solving local issues, do what they can do on their own, and if there are issues that cannot be addressed by local residents alone, the government and others will consider and support together to solve local issues.  We value the attitude of snuggling up to the community, and work on achieving goals and solving regional issues across the agency as Team Konan.

 Recognizing that each person is the face of the ward office, snuggles up to the feelings of the inhabitants of the ward, and performs accurate and polite window reception.

Major Businesses and Initiatives

 Measures against earthquakes, storms and floods, support for advocate in case of disaster

 ・We will promote the deployment of infectious disease control products in evacuation shelter and refuge.
 ・We will utilize an emergency information transmission system that allows you to check information on the establishment of evacuation sites by automatic voice over the telephone.
 ・In addition to stockpiling food and drinking water, we will promote the preparation of "home evacuation" so that you can evacuate at home where you are accustomed to living in an emergency by stockpiling toilet packs and improving measures to prevent furniture from falling.
 ・A set of refuge-operated Game (HUG), which allows you to experience the movement of refuge as a game, and a gymnasium and school plan will be distributed to all evacuation shelter.
 ・We will hold a disaster prevention lecture to raise residents' awareness of disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage.★
 ・In the event of an emergency, we will support efforts in the community so that assistance to advocate in need of disaster (for those who need assistance in evacuation guidance or evacuation lives) can be carried out smoothly.
 ・We will use the welfare shelter version of HUG (refuge management game) to enhance the welfare refuge operation training.

 ・We will promote the "Konan Himawari 83 (Hachisan) Movement" throughout the region to create an environment to watch children at school (around 8:00 and around 3:00) in everyday life.

[Watching and supporting the elderly and disabled]

 ・As a new mechanism for building connections in the region, we will provide consultation and support related to ICT and subsidize equipment installation costs for Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, which is considering the use of ICT such as online meetings.

[Healthy development of young people]
 ・We perform approach to support dream and hope of children including holding of "Konan Children's Dream World". ★

Measure 3 Town development where everyone can live healthy and healthy

 ・From pregnancy to childbirth, infancy, and school attendance, we will enhance continuous support that is close to parents and children, such as consultation and information dissemination on child care. In addition, we will improve the staff's ability to respond to abuse etc. ★

[Support for the elderly to live on their own]
 ・In order to promote the community development, where elderly people can live with peace of mind, we will promote awareness of dementia, nursing care prevention, and advocacy.
 ・For the purpose of supporting elderly people who have difficulty shopping, we support mobile sales in which businesses and communities cooperate. In addition, through mobile sales, we will promote initiatives that lead to promotion of outing opportunities, social participation, and prevention of nursing care.

[Promotion of Reading Activities]
 ・With the aim of realizing “connecting,” “hakumu,” and “opening” as set forth in the Konan Ward Reading Activity Promotion Goals, we will implement community-friendly activities such as lectures and lectures on children's songs and picture books for parents and children.

 ・We will promote the creation of an environment where people can go out with peace of mind by installing and repairing handrails on stairs on public roads.
 ・In order to ensure the safety of children, we will promote the construction and repair of safety facilities on school roads and road markings.

Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures
 ・We carry out simultaneous turn-off in cooperation with companies in ward to raise awareness about energy saving and power saving and promote action change.
 ・Enlighten energy saving at global warming countermeasures panel exhibitions at Konan Library and commercial facilities in the city.

[Efforts to enhance the appeal of the town and attach to the ward]
 ・We will promote initiatives to make ward offices feel closer, such as disseminating information through the Konan Ward Digital Tourism Map, creating a ward original marriage registration form acceptance certificate, and digital photo frames.

 ・We work on reporting and consultation about infectious disease, prevention of infection in ward Government buildings.

[Provision of administrative services that serve as the basis of inhabitants' lives]
 ・Window related to procedure cooperates and tries for convenience improvement of inhabitants of a ward.
 ・For those who need support, each window and related organization cooperate to operate various systems accurately and provide support that is close to each individual.

[Easy-to-understand information provision]
 ・We work on window correspondence that "snuggled up" window correspondence, "communication" public information to inhabitants of a ward.
 ・Utilize various media such as public information Yokohama and ward website, SNS to disseminate appropriate and accurate information.

 We support the business of each section while performing accounting work quickly and accurately and improving the accounting knowledge of staff.
[Health and Welfare Division]
 Watch, support, promote exchange, Konan sunflower plan, promote healthy action with Konan 5!
[Health Sanitation Division]
 We aim to be a safe and comfortable life supporter that supports food safety and living hygiene.
[Elderly and Disabled Support Division]
 We will provide support that is close to your feelings so that elderly people and people with disabilities can spend their time with peace of mind.
[Children and Families Support Division]
 We support the healthy growth of children with the aim of becoming a community development where children can be raised with peace of mind.
[Municipal nursery schools (4 schools)]
 We arrange safe and secure childcare environment and connect with local child care-related facilities and support child care.
[Life Support Division]
 We will provide appropriate support to those who are in need of living. We will also promote learning support and employment support for children.
Insurance & Pension Section
 We will strive to provide easy-to-understand and polite explanations, and strive to properly manage personal information.
[Konan Public Works Office]
 We prepare for disaster on a daily basis and work on maintenance of road, sewer, river, park and push forward safe, reliable town development.
[Konan Library]
 Under the motto "Connect, Hakukumu, and Hirome", we will deliver the joy of reading to residents of the city.

Konan Ward's efforts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

 Last fiscal year, while it was difficult to hold conferences and events, we promoted our business using digital technologies such as online meetings and video distribution.

 In the video distribution of "Konan Children's Dream World", more than 4,000 people, which greatly exceeded the capacity of the venue, watched it, and was well received by families living far away. In fiscal 2022, we will continue to promote each business while utilizing digital technology and devising it.
