Please contact the post office of Hodogaya Post Office. If you call us in advance, you can get it delivered at the time of delivery.

A

If you apply at the Registration Section office in Family Registry Division, Hodogaya Ward Office after December 6, you will be issued a "Certificate of Change of Residence Indication" (free of charge). You can also apply by a proxy.

A

About permanent domicile

I'd like to have "permanent domicile" displayed the same as Address. What should I do?
A

Change to the block number (○) on residential display by submitting the “transfer of domicile Notification”.

※The transfer of domicile notification must be signed and stamped by the first person and spouse. The form of the transfer of domicile notification is in Family Registry Section Family Registry Division, Hodogaya Ward Office.

※If you submit a notification of transfer of domicile, you will need a certificate (for a fee) such as resident certificate (for your permanent address) to change your bicycle driver's license or other permanent domicile.

About procedure of car driver's license

Where is the car driver's license procedure and Reception hours?
A

Procedures can be done free of charge at the Hodogaya police department Transportation Section (driver's license window) and the driver's license test site (11th window on the second floor of Building No. 2).
Reception hours is from 8:30 to 12:00 on weekdays except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and from 13:00 to 17:15 (Please come by 17:00).

What should I do if Address and permanent domicile change when applying for a driver's license?
A

You need to change both Address and permanent domicile. Please bring the "Notice" and "permanent domicile Correction Notice" on the house display together. Please note that the “permanent domicile Correction Notice” will be sent out after the date of the indication of residence (December 6), so please proceed after the “permanent domicile Correction Notice” arrives.

[Those who have been transferred]
You cannot apply with the "permanent domicile Correction Notice". Please take (charged) resident certificate with your permanent address after transfer of domicile at Hodogaya Ward Office Family Registry Division. resident certificate will not be returned.

[In case of change of permanent address] Please present the original "permanent domicile Correction Notice" and return it.
