If you apply at the Registration Section office in Family Registry Division, Hodogaya Ward Office after December 6, you will be issued a "Certificate of Change of Residence Indication" (free of charge). You can also apply by a proxy.

If you apply to the Hodogaya Ward Office Family Registry Division family register Office after December 6, you will be issued a "Certificate of Change of Land Name (permanent domicile Change Certificate)" free of charge. You can also apply by a proxy.

There is no time limit. If necessary, please apply at the Hodogaya Ward Office Family Registry Division window.

It cannot be issued at ward offices other than the Administrative Service Corner or Hodogaya Ward Office. Please apply to Hodogaya Ward Office Family Registry Division.

Change to the block number (○) on residential display by submitting the “transfer of domicile Notification”.

Please erase the old Address on the last page of your passport with double lines and fill in the new Address in the margin. No procedures are required for passports that support IC chips.
