Wide-area delivery of copies of resident certificate

Overview

By utilizing the Network System for Basic Resident Registers, resident certificate can be billed anywhere in the country. By presenting a certificate with a face photo issued by a public office such as My Number Card, Juki Card or driver's license, passport, etc. at the window of the municipality, you can receive a copy of the resident certificate of the person or household .

Those who can apply

Only the person or the same household member listed in resident certificate.

Reception desk

Municipal office where you wish to receive the grant
In Yokohama City, it will be handled only by each ward office. It is not available at the administrative service corner.

Reception hours

Weekday 8:45 am to 5:00 pm
※It is not available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

How to apply

The person or the same household member listed in resident certificate submits the application form to the municipal office you wish to issue, and the person who actually went to the window, the resident registry card with a photo (PIN required) or a driver's license, passport, or other certificate with a face photo issued by a public office.
※Please note that cannot issue it when identity verification contents (contents of the resident certificate of the Address place municipality) do not fit the mention contents of the shown certificate.

Costs (Delivery Fees)

Fees vary depending on the municipality receiving the grant.
If a copy of the resident certificate is issued in Yokohama,resident certificate will be charged 300 yen per copy.

Notes

  • Wide-area issuance may not be possible due to system failure of the other municipal office.
  • The permanent address and the name of the first person are not listed in the resident certificate.
  • If you have forgotten your PIN on your My Number Card or Juki Card, or if you cannot enter your My Number Card or Juki Card's 4-digit PIN at the issuing place and lock it, Please note that you will not be able to read the information in the IC chip, so you will need to apply for unlocking at the municipal office where you live, and you may not be able to receive a wide area grant.
