Installation of grease straps
Stores that discharge a large amount of oils and fats are required to install grease straps (interceptors). If oils and fats flow directly into the sewer pipe, the oil will cool down and solidify, causing clogging of sewer pipes. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

What is a grease strap?
This is a device that separates and stores oil in wastewater so that it is not drained into drain pipes and sewer pipes. The oil in the drainage flowing into the grease strap surfaces due to its light specific gravity, and only the drainage with less oil flows into the drain pipe.
Precautions for installation of grease straps
- I would like setting of authorized product of "Japan interceptor industry association (outside site)".
- Installation work is only possible at "Yokohama City Drainage Equipment Designated Construction Shop".
- We ask for proper maintenance.
