Suspicious visits pretending to be water supply and sewerage officials are increasing!
In the whole city of Yokohama, suspicious individual visits homes and other places, and suspicious telephones, pretending to be employees of Water Works Bureau and Sewerage and Rivers Bureau, as well as construction contractors and contractors.
Beware of suspicious visits. Yokohama City does not make any of the following visits or calls.
■Aqueduct
- Surveys and water quality inspections of pipes that are not requested.
- Repair and investigation of water pipes in the house and charge for work.
- Door-to-door sales, rental and mediation of water purifiers
■Sewer
- Confirmation of absence time based on the pretext that there is a plan to enter the site during construction.
- Inspection and repair of drainage facilities that claim free of charge
- Distribution of commercially available deodorizing detergents (tablets) for drain pipes

- Please be sure to ask for your ID.
