Application acceptance period
From Monday, April 21, Reiwa 7 to Friday, January 30, Reiwa 8
Grant amount
1/2 of the purchase price (including tax). However, the maximum amount of the grant is 20,000 yen.
If a fraction occurs, round down to less than 100 yen.
Example of calculation of grant amount
When purchasing a rainwater storage tank of 35,500 yen and an accessory of 1,000 yen (total: 36,500 yen)
36,500 yen x 1/2 = 18,250 yen
Since less than 100 yen is rounded down, the grant amount is 18,200 yen.
Grantees
The owner of a building in the city (in the case of apartment, the section-owned portion is regarded as one building).
However, buildings that have used this subsidy system in the past are not eligible for the subsidy.
Grants
The grant is for one rainwater storage tank (two or more units are possible when connecting) and its accessories (fall prevention chains, mounts, parts required for connection, etc.).
However, shipping costs and installation costs are not covered by the grant.
Rainwater storage tanks to be subsidized meet all of the following criteria:
（１） Must have a storage capacity of 100 liters or more. (Consolidated tanks are also acceptable)
（２） It must be ready-made and sealed.
（３） Connect to the rain gutter of the building.
In addition, when we receive grant in 2025, tank which we purchased after April 1, 2025 is targeted, and it is necessary to apply for grant by January 30, 2026.
How to apply
In principle, I would like procedure from Yokohama-shi electronic application system.
If you have difficulty using the electronic application system, please fill out the required items application form and installation completion report (Form 1) and bring it with attached documents, send it to the address below by mail or e-mail.
※In the case of application from the electronic application system, there is no need to fill out the application form.

Notes
- It will be closed when the budget is reached.
- Be sure to connect the rainwater storage tank to the gutter of the building you own.
- When purchasing using points or coupons, points and coupons are not eligible for the grant.
- Corporations with the consumption tax purchase deduction tax must reduce the consumption tax equivalent before granting the subsidy, or return the consumption tax equivalent after granting the subsidy. - It is necessary to purchase and install after April 1 of the application year and apply within the application deadline of the same year.

FAQs
It is not eligible. Rainwater storage tanks purchased after April 1, 2025 and submitted a grant application and installation completion report by January 30, 2026 are eligible for this year's subsidy.
Refers to the fall prevention chain, storage platform, and components required for connection.
It is not eligible. However, if the total capacity is more than 100 liters (50 liters x 2, etc.) by connecting the rainwater storage tank, it will be eligible.
In the past, this subsidy system cannot be used when installing in buildings with rainwater storage tanks using this subsidy system.
