Hajime Mori, the hometown of Yokohama City Water and Michishi

On March 15, 2006, Water Works Bureau established the Hajime Mori Gold Ordinance, the Hometown of Yokohama City Water and Doshi.
①Donations from companies and organizations registered as Doshinomori Supporters
②Donations from companies that installed vending machines on water supply sites
③Donations from general individuals, corporations, and organizations
The fund is used to fund the Doshi Water Source Forest Volunteer Project, which is jointly implemented by Water Works Bureau and citizen volunteers.

[Notes on Donations]
① If you are receiving a tax credit for donations, please enter (enter) the person who has paid income tax and resident tax in the donor name.
② The "receipt" received after the donation was transferred by the delivery notice at the financial institution will be a certificate of the donation paid, so please keep it in a safe place. In addition, a certificate of receipt will be mailed from JTB Co., Ltd. to individual donors (those with a donation amount of less than 1 million yen and those who wish to thank you items).
③ Personal information is used for reception, communication and mailing of donations, and will not be used for any purpose other than that.
④ Beware of fake sites that pretend to be hometown tax payment.

[If the donor is an individual]
① Donation to "Hometown of Yokohama City Water and Doshi Hajime Morikin" will be hometown tax payment (specific donation) to Yokohama City, so in principle, by final tax return, the amount exceeding 2,000 yen of the donation amount will be You can receive tax credits from income tax and resident tax.　(However, there is an upper limit on the deduction depending on the income of the donor and the family structure.)
② When individual who does not file final tax return receives tax credit, "report exception application pertaining to donation tax credit" [for style, please see website (donation deduction) of Yokohama-shi. ] Please attach a double-sided copy of the "Personal Number Card" or a copy of the "Notification Card" (with no change in the information after May 25, 2020) and documents (copy of driver's license, passport, etc.) to the Water Works Bureau Public Relations Section.　[For more information, please see the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications "Hometown Tax Payment" (outside site).

[If the donor is a corporation]
・Donations to "Yokohama City Water Hometown Doshi Hajime Morikin" can be included in the deduction based on the Corporation Tax Law as a specific donation to Yokohama City. [For more information, please refer to the NTA “Deduction of donations paid by corporations” (outside site). ]

①If only individuals who have Address outside Yokohama are donated to "Yokohama City Water Hometown Hajime Mori Kin", Water Works Bureau will give the applicant a return item according to the donation amount.
②The special return items were created using thinned cypress wood to protect the water source forest in Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where the water source (Doshi River) of Yokohama City flows. You can feel the texture, and the "wooden nameplate" and "wooden letter of appreciation" include the name of the donor and words of appreciation.

・If only individuals who have Address outside Yokohama are donated to "Yokohama City Water Hometown Hajime Mori Kin", Water Works Bureau offers one item according to the donation amount from "Yokohama-like" and "Yokohama-specific" Yokohama's unique charm.

①Due to the revision of the Local Tax Law on June 1, 2019, the number of eligible recipients of gifts has been limited to individuals with Address outside Yokohama City.

A company that installed vending machines on the site in Water Works Bureau donated a portion of the proceeds to Hajime Mori, the hometown of Mizu in Yokohama City.

According to the Yokohama City Ordinance, we subsidize the activities of citizen volunteer groups that maintain private forests in Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, from the hometown of Yokohama City Water, Hajime Mori, Doshi.
