Disaster medical system in Minami Ward
Last updated on January 15, 2024.
As a result of the review of the Yokohama disaster preparedness plan, eight local medical aid center locations in the ward were abolished in 2013, and the medical system in the event of a disaster was renewed.
Under the new disaster medical system, medical institutions that have survived the disaster will quickly establish a medical treatment system and provide medical treatment. In addition, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc. will gather at clinics on the Minami Ward holiday to provide medical care, and a "medical rescue squad" will be formed to provide medical care at evacuation shelter and other places in the ward according to damage situation.
Along with this, we are looking for "Y Nurse" who can support medical rescue activities in the event of a disaster. For more information, please refer to the following page.
