Hello Baby Class (parent classroom) for FY2024 (until March 31, 2025)
About parent classroom
In Yokohama City, we will provide comprehensive support for pregnant women so that pregnancy, childbirth and child care can be carried out with peace of mind.
For parents' classrooms, the following three types can be used.
1 Parent classroom (conducted at Minami Ward Office)
(Held on weekdays) 1 course in total 3 times, 11 courses per year.
(held on Saturday) Only once per course. Conducted four times a year. For more information, please see the page on Saturday Parents' Classroom (reservation required).
2 Online parent classroom, Web version parent classroom
In Yokohama City, we hold online parent classes. In addition, you can see video on Yokohama-shi homepage.
For details, please refer to the online health guidance that you can participate with peace of mind at home.
3 Premama-kai (conducted at the Haguhagu tree, a support base for child care in the Minami Ward area)
You can listen to bathing practice and experience of senior mom. As for the details, please see Haguhagu tree (Minami Ward area child care support base) pre-mama society handbill (PDF: 956KB).
Those who are eligible
This is a classroom for families who have a baby for the first time.
We will give you information about child care so that you can spend your pregnancy healthy and look for your birth with peace of mind.
※It is recommended that you take the course around 7 to 9 months of pregnancy. If you are pregnant after 36 weeks of pregnancy, please refrain from participating.

Multipurpose room for medical examination on the 4th floor of Minami Ward Office
Holding time
- 1st time: From 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- 2nd and 3rd: From 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

About reservation
・Reservations start 84 days before the event date (12 weeks before).
・If you cancel after applying for participation, please use the electronic application system from "My Page".
・When the capacity is reached, you will not be able to select the desired schedule. Also, there is no waiting list. Thank you for your understanding.
・The contents of the "Parent Classroom (3rd)" and the contents of the "Saturday Parents Classroom" are the same. Please participate in either of them (duplicate application is not possible).

Hello baby class (parent classroom) of 2025 (from April 1, 2025)
About parent classroom
In Yokohama City, we will provide comprehensive support for pregnant women so that pregnancy, childbirth and child care can be carried out with peace of mind.
For parents' classrooms, the following three types can be used.
1 Hello Baby Class (conducted at Minami Ward Office)

It is a three-piece stand of "pregnancy story", "childbirth story", and "child care story".
"Child care story" is held four times a year on Saturday in addition to Wednesday.
Please apply for reservation from child care site application "Pamatoko" (outside site).
2 Online parent classroom, Web version parent classroom
In Yokohama City, we hold online parent classes. In addition, you can see video on Yokohama-shi homepage.
For details, please refer to the online health guidance that you can participate with peace of mind at home.
