FY2021 Nishi Ward Management Policy

We have formulated the Nishi Ward Management Policy for FY2021, which summarizes Nishi Ward's basic goals and initiatives to achieve them.

To Nishi Ward, a town that makes everyone happy and happy.

Putting the safety and security of the inhabitants of the ward first, smooth vaccination and thorough measures against infectious diseases, as well as revitalizing the economy and working on new daily life, such as promoting shopping streets and supporting local activities through the use of ICT. I will work hard.

In cooperation with local residents and related organizations, we will proceed with the formulation of the 4th “Nikomachi Plan” while assessing the spread of infection.
In addition, in order to further expand efforts to create a face-to-face relationship and solve local issues, we will work on creating leaders in activities and supporting the use of ICT tools.

We will promote the creation of an environment where everyone, from children to the elderly, can live with peace of mind. In addition, we will work to prevent infectious diseases and create healthy communities such as lifestyle-related diseases prevention.

In line with the holding of large-scale events such as the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we will promote the creation of bustle in the town. In addition, we plan activation of town through mall support and tree planting.

We will support the efforts of the self support and community support in the region and strengthen disaster prevention functions at the measures for natural disaster and other ward offices. In addition, we will work on traffic safety measures in anti-crime program and prevent food poisoning and infectious diseases in line with the characteristics of Nishi Ward, which has a large number of large-scale facilities, as well as raising awareness of local beautification and environmental considerations.

We will work to improve the satisfaction of residents by demonstrating our comprehensive capabilities as "Team Nishi Ward Office" by communicating the appeal of Nishi Ward through various public relations media such as social media and digital tools.
