FY2023 Nishi Ward Management Policy

We have formulated the Nishi Ward Management Policy for FY2023, which summarizes the basic goals of Nishi Ward and initiatives to achieve them.

To Nishi Ward, a town that makes everyone happy and happy.

Town which raised child For realization of town to bring up the next generation together, we promote each business and bring in child care generation to activate area and economy and lead to better administrative services.

In order to realize the concept of the digital ward office, "Do not write, wait, do not go and connect", we will promote initiatives while conducting various demonstration experiments with the cooperation of businesses in each field.

• Promotion of the 4th “Nikomachi Plan” in cooperation with local residents and related organizations
• Promotion of initiatives to revitalize local activities through the creation of leaders in activities and support the use of ICT tools.
• Implementation of initiatives to celebrate the anniversary of the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system

• Uninterrupted child care support from pregnancy to school age
• Creating an environment where elderly and disabled people can live with peace of mind.
• Prevention awareness of lifestyle-related diseases and dissemination of health information

• Improvement of migration by utilizing local resources
• Shopping street support, event implementation, and creation of liveliness through greening of the town
• Promotion of SDGs in cooperation with companies and organizations in the city

• Support the efforts of self support and community support in the region
• Strengthen disaster prevention functions at the ward headquarters, including measures for natural disaster
• anti-crime program and traffic safety measures in line with the characteristics of Nishi Ward
• Enlightenment of environmental issues through hands-on lectures and cleaning activities
