FY2020 Nishi Ward Management Policy

We have formulated the Nishi Ward Management Policy for FY2020, which outlines Nishi Ward's basic goals and initiatives to achieve them.

To Nishi Ward, a town that makes everyone happy and happy.

Through a summary of the third phase of the “Nikomachi Plan (*)” and the formulation of the next plan, we will continue to promote “community development through collaboration” in which we work together with local residents and work to resolve issues. We will continue our efforts to create a place to stay.

In order to create an environment where everyone, from children to the elderly, can live with peace of mind, we will continue to support child-rearing, create a system to support the lives of the elderly, support activities for people with disabilities, supportlifestyle-related diseases prevention and other health promotion activities.

In line with the Yokohama Triennale 2020, we will promote the creation of bustle in the town. In addition, based on the progress of corporate agglomeration, we will strengthen corporate cooperation and the appeal of the ward to employees in the ward.
Furthermore, we will continue to foster momentum for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

We will support the efforts of the self support and community support in the region and strengthen disaster prevention functions at the measures for natural disaster and other ward offices. In addition, in cooperation with local communities and related organizations, we will further strengthen anti-crime program awareness-raising activities and traffic safety measures, and also work with companies in the ward to raise awareness of local beautification and environmentally conscious actions.

We will work to improve the satisfaction of residents by demonstrating our comprehensive capabilities as "Team Nishi Ward Office" by communicating the appeal of Nishi Ward through various public relations media such as social media and digital tools.
