We are looking for a logo design proposal to publicize the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system, which is familiar to many residents, in line with the objectives of the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system.

1. Use either or both of the Nishimaro-chan or the Nishi Ward logo without modifying the design (Nishimaro-chan pose can be changed).
2. Please use numbers and words that show at a glance the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward constituency system in 2024.
3. Please make it in color, but please consider that it may be used in single color or monochrome.
4. Please note that the Executive Committee will create an official logo design based on the adopted logo design proposal.

The design data of the above "Nishimaro-chan" and "Nishi Ward logo mark" will be provided to applicants. The data provided cannot be used for anything other than the logo design proposal (for details, see "9 Data Provision").
It is possible to draw with handwriting or freehand without using illustration data, but do not make major modifications (if you can tell that you are Nishimaro-chan, you do not have to cut the whole body). In addition, when the executive committee creates the official logo design, it may be arranged like a Nishimaro-chan.

• Primary selection [late June (planned)]
  • The submitted works will be reviewed by the Executive Committee and several candidate works will be selected.
• Second selection (general vote) [late June to early July (planned)]
  • We perform electronic voting or voting at ward offices for works selected in the first selection, and select the top three points.
• Third selection [Mid-July (planned)]
  • The Executive Committee will determine the best work from the top three points in the second selection.

It will be announced on the website around August 2023 (Reiwa 5).

• The best works will be published on the Nishi Ward public relations paper and on the website, and only the winners will be notified in writing.
• If awarded, the name of the winner, the name of the municipality where you live, and the age (age) may be announced. In the second screening (voting), we may publish the age of applicants, their thoughts on Nishi Ward, and episodes with Nishi Ward.
• The works selected as the best works will be used for PR such as the creation of banners, and will be used to widely disseminate Nishi Ward's 80th anniversary commemorative project both inside and outside the city.

1. Please submit works that are self-made, unpublished, do not use AI, and do not resemble existing logo design.
2. Up to 2 points per person (one group) and 1 application form per point.
3. Designs that are unrelated to the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward constituency system, those that use wording, political or religious designs, those that use wording, those that violate laws and regulations and public order and morals, and those that impair the image of Nishi Ward are not included in the selection process.
4. Entries will not be returned.
5. The exhibition fee is free, but all expenses such as postage required for application will be borne by the applicant.
6. We will not be able to respond to inquiries regarding the selection process or results.
7. If a minor (under 18 years old) works are adopted, you must submit a parental consent form when awarding the supplementary prize.
8. In the event of any problems related to the copyright or any other rights of the submitted work, it is the responsibility of the applicant.
9. The selected works may be partially corrected or modified by the Executive Committee and the Nishi Ward Office, or may be used for single-color printing.
10. The copyright, secondary use rights, commercialization rights, public transmission rights and all other rights of the selected works belong to the Executive Committee and the Nishi Ward Office.
11. The winner shall not exercise the moral rights of the author when the Executive Committee and Nishi Ward Office use the work.
12. The winners, the Executive Committee and the Nishi Ward Office shall conclude a copyright transfer agreement with the content of 10. and 11. above, provided that they have been selected for the highest award. ※Please note that in this contract, we will not pay the contract fee for the highest award or the financial fee.
13. Personal information obtained by the Executive Committee and Nishi Ward Office from applicants will not be used for any purpose other than those related to the recruitment of logo design.
