Sakae Ward Youth Instructors' Council

Youth instructors are commissioned by the mayor based on recommendations from Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, etc., in order to promote youth voluntary activities and their development activities to promote healthy youth development throughout the region. The term of office is two years, and the 29th term is from Reiwa 6 to Reiwa 7.

There are currently 93 youth instructors in seven districts in Sakae Ward.

In addition to night patrols and surveys on the social environment conducted by youth instructors in Yokohama, the Sakae Ward Youth Instructors Council conducts various activities in each district.

In addition, we hold the SAKAE Young Festival in March every year in front of Hongodai Station, organized and implemented jointly by junior high schools in Sakae Ward and Aoshi in seven districts.
