Lectures centered on cooking classes to learn about friendly exchange cities were held at each district center in the ward through regional cuisine and other cities.

On December 10, 2021 (Reiwa 3), a product store in the Sakae Ward Friendship Exchange City was opened in Hongodai Ekimae Living, a station-front revitalization project. At the annual Sakae Ward Folk Festival held at Hongo Junior High School, we sell agricultural products and specialty products from each city.
