The award ceremony for the children who won the 35th Sakae Ward Children's Association Japanese calligraphy Exhibition was held at SAKAESTA on Sunday, February 16th. On Thursday, December 12, the annual "Drunk Driving Eradication Campaign" was held near the "Sakae Ward Office Entrance" intersection. I went to the main event of Parafesta @ Sakae held in December! It was impressive that all the participants were excited. Various events were held, such as inclusive sports experience and product sales and work experience by welfare establishments!

On Saturday, December 7, I went to the Fureai Boccia tournament, which is being held as part of Parafesta Sakae. This event is held entirely by sports promotion committee members working in Sakae Ward. It was impressive that men and women of all ages was so excited. Everyone should try it!

On Tuesday, November 26, I went to the Sakae Ward Protection Association and Hamasapo gathering! The Yokohama City Park Protection Association Individual Award, Hama Road Supporter 10 Year Award, Sakae Ward Park Protection Association, Waterside Protection Association and Hama Road Supporter Activity Award were held. I realized once again that Sakae Ward can continue to be rich in nature thanks to the activities of these people.

The Sakae Ward Art Festival was held at Lilith Sakae public hall, Sakae Ward Cultural Center until Monday, November 25. This time I went to the Japanese calligraphy exhibition, photo exhibition and handicraft exhibition! It was a masterpiece because the works made with great care were lined up. I was able to fully enjoy the autumn of art!

On Sunday, November 17, I went to the "Iijima Seseragi Green Road Festival"! Everyone seemed to have fun going around the mock shop while enjoying the autumn leaves. It was an event where you can enjoy autumn!

I went to "SAKAESTA Festa 2024" on Sunday, November 17th. Many activity groups, such as workshops and hands-on corners, participated and it was very exciting. Among them, Search Walk is a competition that originated in Sakae Ward!

On Sunday, November 17th, we went to see the 36th Sakae Ward People's Tug of War! It was very powerful because the team's intention and intention collided. It was impressive that it was exciting regardless of men and women of all ages!

On Tuesday, October 1, we went to encourage the red feather community chest! The Red Feather Community Fund was established and developed to promote community welfare as a help for post-war reconstruction. Everyone shouted loudly, and the lively smile was impressive.

Until Monday, November 25, the Sakae Ward Art Festival will be held at Lilith and Sakae public hall at the Sakae Ward Cultural Center. In the second half, in addition to music concerts, you can enjoy the Japanese calligraphy exhibition, photo exhibition, handicraft exhibition and pottery exhibition. There is also a hands-on classroom, so let's go and enjoy the autumn of art!

I went to see the activities of the Sakae Ward Bright Election Promotion Council in cultural festival, Kashiyo High School. Both adults and children were learning about elections through games and other games. Let's go to vote in the election! (The election voting starts at the age of 18!)

I went to "Working Kurumatai Shugo" held in front of Hongodai Station on Saturday, September 21. It was impressive to see cars that I couldn't usually see up close, such as dump trucks, buses, and white bikes. The children also enjoyed it very much!

On July 17th, I visited the four cities Sakae Mirai Conference. Sakae Ward's friendship exchange cities, Sakaemura, Nagano Prefecture, Nanbu Town, Aomori Prefecture, and Takahata Town, Yamagata Prefecture. Including the inhabitant of a ward festival, kids clubs also hold programs to learn about exchange cities, and are engaged in various activities!

On July 15, I went to the 20th Sakae Children's and Adult Go Tournament. Children and adults played and enjoyed regardless of age! Sakae Ward is so popular that it is called the "Go Kingdom"! The Sakae Ward Go Promotion Association is engaged in various activities, such as holding Go classes for those who want to learn Go and those who want to aim for the first stage, creating an environment where it is easy to start Go.

On June 13, I went to the "Ikuhiko Akabori Exhibition". I was so impressed that I was touched by traditional crafts!
Ikuhiko Akahori has lived in Sakae Ward and served as chairman of the Sakae Ward Artists Association in Yokohama, and has won the Prime Minister's Award and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award!

In March 2024, a present project will be held to commemorate the birth month of Touch-kun!

From Tuesday, February 18, a collaboration project with the Sakae Ward Itokawa mascot "Touch-kun" was held at "Sampo Michi-Art de Smile". During the period, the cafe was decorated with many touch-kuns, and special projects such as provision of collaboration menus, illustration exhibitions, and gifts of cafe users were held, and many touch-kun fans visited. The results of Yuru Chara Grampuri 2018, in which "Sakae Ward Itachigawa Mascot Touch-kun" participated, were announced.
