Totsuka Ward Kashio River conservation Rehabilitation Project
It is said that the row of Kashio River cherry trees began when they were planted in 1856 during the Edo period. In the early Showa era, Yosano Tetsumi and Akiko and his wife also wrote as one of the best cherry blossom spots in the Kanto region. However, in recent years, the number of cherry blossoms that may fall down due to aging or illness of cherry blossoms has increased, and logging has been forced to ensure the safety of pedestrians. We launched this project with the desire to pass on the row of cherry trees in the Kashio River, which has been loved and loved by local residents for a long time. The donations collected will be used for the restoration of conservation, such as replanting the felled cherry trees and improving the growth environment. I would like to protect the Kashio River cherry blossom trees with a history of more than 150 years with everyone and pass it on to the future. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
