Management Interview "Tomorrow's Corporation"

My job is a good thing. I want to make it a company full of smiles with all the people having aspirations. (Representative Director: Shue Murao)

Corporate introduction

In 2005, the predecessor "Murao CO." was launched, and in 2008, "Tomorrow's Co., Ltd." was established. "Now, I will make tomorrow. -It is a design company that handles website production and operation, DTP design, Blanding, etc. with the mission of "Tomorrow with Smiles". With an office in Aoba-ku, Yokohama City, we have launched a new business with 20 members now, and besides our main business, a regional revitalization event "HAPPY Sakuradai departure! We are also actively engaged in career lectures at our Ma Market, local schools, and planning store associations. This time, we asked Shue Murao, Representative Director, about his views on work and his thoughts on recruiting women.

Question 1. When did you start thinking about how women work?

When internet needs began to increase in Japan, I worked for a company that was growing at a tremendous rate. At that time, the company had a childcare system, but in fact, it was difficult to return to a position, regardless of whether it was female or male, once she left work for childcare leave or nursing care, it was difficult to keep up with changes in the IT industry and the speed of company growth. Even in other industries, I felt that it was an issue to work even if various systems were in place, and when I saw the future, I felt that it was difficult to work for a long time while cherishing my lifestyle. What do we want to do our own, not just companies and governments? I've been asking myself all the time. After that, when I started independent online shop management and became able to contract a wide range of client contracts, such as WEB consulting services, I would like to know female designers who are still eager to work at our company and work together! Even though I thought she was raising four children, and it was very difficult to go to the office every day. They were also sisters who set up the company together and mothers who worked with other members. At that time, I guess the work style of telework was not so much attention. It was inevitable for us to work on creating a place where they could play an active role, and now it is common sense for us (laughs), but working styles tailored to each individual, such as at home, shorter hours, and local work, have been continuously created as challenges that continue to change in our company as children grow up.

Question 2. Is there any effect of management by establishing a system tailored to workers?

The most embodied thing is that there is no correct answer to the work style. Of course, the sales of the company are important, but what you can do with a smile according to the life stage of each person. "I'm going to make tomorrow." -"Tomorrow with a smile" is from the commitment of the daily members. In order to continue working for decades to come, you must be more gentle than strength and supple with change. Sharing this mission and flexibility is a must for your company organization. The attitude of our members respecting each other and challenging each other creates a corporate culture that values our clients and expands the range of new proposals. Thankfully, there are many clients who support us, and we have received requests for introductions. In addition, we have received numerous awards such as the Yokohama Good Balance Award, which has raised our awareness and led to the pride of our members in their aspirations. Nevertheless, without being content to those who support us, we always provide more than expected to our clients and everyone, and we will listen carefully to e-mail and telephone communication so that we can always provide more than we expect and feel comfortable and rich together. I always keep in mind every day.

Question 3. What kind of initiatives are you taking regarding the recruitment of women?

At our company, work is described as "will", and we do not serve the company, but we value the place where we have aspirations and create ourselves. The main mechanism is to work from home, but creating an environment where it is easy to work is to clean up every day, to thank each other, to work like a woman, and to work like a woman, every day! There's also a lot of things. I think about "recruiting women" is not limited to women, and in this diverse society, many people do not want a single-piece system called full-time employees. For example, if the lifestyle that considers the growth of a child the most, it is the same as the way of working, but also the way of living and rewarding in the first place. Over the past few decades, the system has been upgraded steadily, but people's thoughts and attitudes to live have not changed significantly. There are always people. They are all people who want to contribute to society. Restrict yourself because you are a mother, or give it first, not depending on the environmental situation. The attitude of understanding each other is increasingly important. Last year, we also started hiring people with disabilities. There are still many challenges in terms of technology, but the changes in communication within the company and the growth of growth, above all, this excitement was far beyond my imagination. If you don't do anything, the challenge is actually something that no one knows.

Question 4. Finally, do you have any thoughts on how to work in the world as a whole?

Our generation is responsible for continuing to create a way of life that will lead to the future. The way each person in the future should be considered and act as one of the people who support the aging society with a low birthrate and aging society that is becoming increasingly diversified and spreads in front of their eyes. Child care, nursing care, and all the family members who have a family cannot live alone. We need not only children who gather at our company, how they work, but also those who have child care and nursing care, and have a question on various things without giving up and a sense of creating them with them. Let's continue to think about where our daily lives are connected and create the future together. Finally, support the success of women! When you hear that, I don't think it's always necessary to come with female women (laughs) to create a place where each other can play an active role. Of course, the power of men is necessary, and cooperation and compassion are indispensable for child care and nursing care. What I'm good at is not related to men and women. There are a lot of culinary men around me, and there are many moms who love to work outside. There is only a possibility that the children who grow up after seeing their powerful parents. It's not a big thing. Ask as many companies as possible to know the appeal of continuing to create work together with organizations, and in the world, such a way of working and aspirations for people are commonplace! It's almost like that.

Voice of Female Employees

Tomoko Murao (Joined in 2005)

Photos of female employees

I originally worked for an apparel company and experienced buyer, sales, store manager, etc. In 2005, together with the sister of the current Representative Director, we registered the company's predecessor "Murao CO." and launched the Lady Apparel Net Shop. From there, as I changed the business stage from online shopping and web production, my work content continues to change, and it has become a career. Currently, as a web director, he serves as a client contact point, and is in charge of managing the progress of production in general, starting with Blanding, design proposals, WEB specification decisions, etc. Everyone has the first time, but at the start, I have little knowledge and skills related to the web, and anyway, I have a series of hardships (laughs) "Learn everything" for one year at a Tokyo WEB company! Thank you very much. The rewarding thing in my current aspirations is, above all, the words of "thank you" given by clients. The production, which starts with asking about the details of your passion and business for your company, is the best time when you are completed and happy together. In addition, as a new business, I am also in charge of regional employment recruitment. Even if you don't go to Tokyo, we are creating an environment where you can do things near your family here. And one of the goals is to connect this happy model case. Let's create a new way of working with many people.
