In the Nakayama-cho district of Midori Ward, in response to requests from the local community, we identified living roads where excessive speeds and sudden braking frequently occur from ETC 2.0 big data, and have been examining traffic safety measures together with the local community since 2018. In November 2018, a one-month demonstration experiment was conducted, and it was confirmed that speed control and vehicle suspension at pedestrian crossings were confirmed, so safety measures such as smooth pedestrian crossings were implemented and completed in March 2020 .
