In Yokohama City, if there is a request from local residents to "want to widen the narrow road (*) integrally on the route" on the maintenance promotion route specified by the ordinance, support and widening for the maintenance We carry out construction of part (hereinafter "route type maintenance") and narrow and promote widening of road.
In response to requests from local residents who have narrow school roads and want to secure evacuation route in the event of a disaster in the first term section of the Imajuku district of Asahi Ward, we were able to complete the route-type maintenance that we had been promoting with the cooperation of local and roadside landowners at the end of September 2023.
※A narrow road is a road with a width of less than 4 meters and is used for general traffic.
