On February 1, 2022, Yokohama City launched a system to certify condominiums that are implementing disaster prevention measures as "Yokohama Disaster Prevention Power Improvement Condominiums." Eight existing condominiums that have been applied have been approved for "main certification" and one new condominium has been approved for "plan certification".
