April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. It was established by the United Nations in 2007 to deepen understanding of developmental disorders such as autism in countries around the world. In Japan, April 2 to 8 is designated as "Development Disability Awareness Week". In Yokohama-shi, spread enlightenment about developmental disorders including autism is called "World Autism Awareness Day in Yokohama 2021" and related events will be held.
