In Yokohama City, based on the "3rd Yokohama City Educational Promotion Basic Plan", we have been systematically promoting the improvement of the ICT environment, etc., but the government has indicated a supplementary budget, and "one terminal per person" Will be maintained during FY2020.
Based on these trends, Board of Education Secretariat has set up a project within the agency and has also formulated the "Direction of the GIGA School Initiative in Yokohama City," which incorporates the selection of terminals, the development of LANs, and how to use terminals, while receiving opinions from experts and others.
In the future, we will begin preparations for the procurement of terminals and LAN maintenance, etc., and will continue to study based on the opinions of educational sites, etc., and announce it as the "GIGA School Concept in Yokohama City" by September 2020.
