　As natural disasters such as the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, heavy rains and typhoons that have occurred frequently in recent years have become more severe, we need to further promote initiatives by self support and community support.
　Makita Junior High School (Minami Ward) implements disaster prevention education programs in cooperation with disaster prevention departments so that each junior high school student can be responsible for regional disaster prevention.
　This time, as a culmination of our efforts, we will hold presentations from students to parents and local residents based on the knowledge and skills we have learned.
