　In the finals of the "Yokohama Children's International Peace Speech Contest" (press release on July 18, 2023), the four people who won the Mayor's Award will be commissioned to "Yokohama Children's Peace Messenger". In addition, 38 elementary and junior high school students, including 4 Peace Messengers, who participated in this contest after the selection of each ward and the screening of the secretariat, will be commissioned to the Yokohama Children's International Peace Program "Child Executive Committee".
　In the future, "Yokohama Children's Peace Messenger" will visit the United Nations headquarters in New York. In addition, the “Children's Executive Committee” creates “Yokohama Children's Peace Message” and “International Peace Fundraising Campaign Video” that summarize their thoughts on international peace, visits offices of international organizations and other organizations to study on international peace. We engage in various activities throughout the year.
