・In 2020, the number of fires was 624, a decrease of 61 from the previous year, and the fire rate was 1.7, the lowest since City of Yokohama, Fire Bureau was established in 1948. ※The fire rate refers to the number of fires per 10,000 population.
・Although the number of fires decreased, the percentage of residential fires in building fire as a whole was 70.0%, the highest in the past decade.
・There were 15 deaths from fires (down 7 compared to last year), and all deaths except arson and suicide were due to house fires.
②The number of emergency cases and the number of transport personnel decreased for the first time in 12 years!
・The number of emergency participations was 194,639, a decrease of 17,756 (-8.4%) from the previous year, which was the highest ever, and the number of transport personnel was 164,083, a decrease of 18,563 (-10.2%) compared to the previous year. .
・Looking at the ratio of transport personnel by age, elderly people account for 57.3%, and moderate or higher accounted for 54.0% by degree of injury and illness, both are increasing year by year.
