In response to a forest fire that occurred in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture at around 15:40 on February 21, 2021, the aviation fire brigade in Fire Bureau, Motoichi, was sent to the Fire Service Commissioner of the Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications based on Article 44 of the Fire Service Organization Law. Requests for Wide Area Air Firefighting Support during Disasters "was dispatched the following units.
