Duties

Perform the following duties as an instructor in areas where smoking is prohibited, and as an instructor such as separate discharge.

  1. Enlightenment guidance on prevention of scattering of empty cans and butts
  2. Guidance, caution, collection of fines, etc. for smokers based on the ordinance in smoking prohibited areas
  3. Direct guidance for violators and troubleshooting
  4. Decision on dispositions based on the provisions of Article 30 of the Ordinance, collection of fines, and affairs related to this
  5. Patrols to prevent the removal of recyclables, prohibition guidance for actors, issuance of orders, etc.
  6. Other necessary tasks related to coordination with the responsible police department, promotion of beautification of the city, guidance on separate discharge, etc.

※In addition, disaster response work in the event of a large-scale disaster (basically auxiliary work, only during working hours)

Application requirements

Those who fall under all of the following

  1. Those who are over 20 years old as of April 1, 2025
  2. Those who have a vehicles driver's license and have at least 5 years of work experience
  3. Those who have physical strength to withstand walking around outdoors
  4. Those who have worked at Kanagawa Prefectural Police (recommended)
  5. Those who have experienced jukendo or have equivalent experience (recommended)
  6. Those who do not fall under the grounds for disqualification regarding recruitment stipulated in Article 16, etc. of the Local Public Service Act

※The Health Promotion Act stipulates that people under the age of 20 are prohibited from entering smoking areas, so there is an age limit.

Working days

Days specified by the director in advance at 5 days a week (including weekends and holidays) Working 30 hours a week.
However, this excludes New Year holidays (12/29 to 1/3)

The following shift of working hours
7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (break time: 60 minutes)
8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (break time: 60 minutes)
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (break time: 60 minutes)
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (break time: 60 minutes)
From 0:00 pm to 7:00 pm (break time: 60 minutes)
From 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm (break time: 60 minutes)

Employment period

April 1, 2015-March 31, 2018

Salary

・¥226,300 per month
・Term-end allowance, diligence allowance, commuting expenses (equivalent to actual expenses, upper limit) are paid separately.
※The amount is subject to change due to the revision of the system.

3 Selection Method

Selection method: Document screening and interview will be conducted.

Primary selection
(Selection of documents)

We will examine the submitted documents and send out a notice of pass / fail on Monday, March 3, 2025.
※Notify the results in writing, regardless of pass/fail. We do not respond to inquiries by telephone, e-mail, etc.

Secondary selection
(Interview)

We carry out on Friday, March 7, 2025 or Monday, 10th.
※Details such as meeting time will be notified to the applicant separately. We do not respond to inquiries by telephone, e-mail, etc.
※If you are absent from the screening test, you will be deemed to be declined.

※Transportation expenses to the selection venue will be borne by yourself.

Final selection

Results

It will be shipped in mid-March 2025.

Others

We will not be able to respond to any inquiries about the results.
