On November 2, 2023, 14 members of the Transport and Tourism Commission of the European Parliament, headed by Jens Gyeseke, visited the beach.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism gave a presentation on carbon neutral initiatives and LNG bunkering, while the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism presented the post-COVID-19 reconstruction (reopening of cruise ships and recent trends in ports), and exchanged views on both initiatives and future directions.
In addition, members of the European Parliament visited the Osanbashi International Passenger Ship Terminal and other facilities.
