On October 23, 2024, City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau participated in a private session "Acceleration of Industrial Transformation and Decarbonization in Energy and Transportation" hosted by the World Economic Forum. The participants exchanged views on the promotion of global energy infrastructure for decarbonization of shipping and truck transportation with public and private representatives, academic experts, and stakeholders from global companies and international organizations who are familiar with the energy situation in Japan and around the world.
