On August 2, 2023, Deputy Prime Minister Douglas Uga Embass, Sarawak, Malaysia, visited Yokohama Port and introduced the construction of a CO2-free hydrogen supply chain using renewable energy, which ENEOS Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation are collaborating with local companies, as well as CCUS initiatives to actively promote the future.
Yokohama City explained the national policy and the initiatives of Yokohama Port regarding carbon neutrality ports.
