Please tell about reduction of property tax of house which performed barrier-free repair work.

There is a reduction system for houses that have undergone barrier-free renovation work that meets certain requirements. In order to be eligible, a declaration must be made within three months from the date of completion of the renovation.
(1) Details of renovation work
Performing construction that falls under any of the following
a Widening corridor b. Relaxing the slope of stairs c Improve bathroom d Improve toilet
e Attachment of handrail f Elimination of steps on the floor g Replacement to sliding doors h Non-slip of floor surface
(2) Construction cost requirements
(1) Expenses related to construction work exceed 500,000 yen excluding subsidies, etc.
(3) Reduction period
Renovation work completed between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2016 The following fiscal year
(4) Target housing
Houses that have passed 10 years or more since new construction (excluding rental housing), and the floor area of the house must be 50 m2 or more and 280 m2 or less
※In the case of a co-owned house, the floor area of the exclusive area must be 50m2 or more and 280m2 or less.
(5) Scope of reduction
Floor area up to 100 m2
(6) Reduction contents
Reduce property tax by 1/3 of property tax.
※Only property tax (house) will be reduced.
