Please tell about reduction of property tax of house which performed energy saving repair work.

Heat loss prevention renovation work, etc. that meets certain requirements (hereinafter referred to as "energy saving renovation work, etc.") There is a property tax reduction system for housing that has been implemented. In order to be eligible, a declaration must be made within three months from the date of completion of the renovation.
(1) Details of renovation work
Energy-saving renovation work, etc. (the following works)
a [Required] Window renovation work ※For co-owned houses, it is mandatory to renovate the windows of the exclusive area.
b Insulation work on the floor, ceiling insulation work, and wall insulation work performed in conjunction with window renovation work.
c Use of solar heat Cooling and heating equipment, latent heat recovery water heater, heat pump water heater, fuel cell cogeneration system, etc.
Construction related to replacement or installation of air conditioners and solar power generation facilities
d [Required] All refurbishment sites will conform to the energy-saving standards set forth in the notification of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
(2) Construction cost requirements
The cost of construction related to ab above must exceed 600,000 yen

(3) Reduction period
Renovation work completed between April 1, Reiwa 4 and March 31, Reiwa 8 The following fiscal year
(4) Target housing
Houses (excluding rental houses) located before April 1, 2014, and the floor area of the house must be 50m2 or more and 280m2 or less
※In the case of a co-owned house, the floor area of the exclusive area must be 50m2 or more and 280m2 or less.
(5) Scope of reduction
Floor area up to 120 m2
(6) Reduction contents
Reduce property tax by 1/3 of property tax.
In addition, about house where repair work was completed by March 31, 2024, we reduce 1/3 of city planning tax amount in addition. (* Reduction of city planning tax is Yokohama-shi's own measure. The handling of renovation work performed on or after April 1, 2024 is undecided. ) 。
※If a renovated house falls under a certified long-term excellent house, there is a system in which the reduction rate is expanded. For more information, please contact us.
