Recommendations and Requests for FY2020

We will scrutinize the opinions given in "Regional Gathering" and summarize them as "Proposals and Requests".

Last updated on April 5, 2021.

We submitted "Recommendations and Requests" in FY2020.

Submitted from the representative committee to Mayor Deguchi

On December 15, at the Director General Office of the Hodogaya Ward Office, Kobayashi told Mayor Yoichi Deguchi that he would install an elevator when improving the Nishiya Station building. "I want you to remove the pedestrian bridge on Higashikawajima-cho on National Route 16 and make it a pedestrian crossing." We chose what we wanted to do and submitted it as a written "local gathering" proposal / request item. .
Normally, we hold gathering-type "local gatherings" at six venues in the ward, sort opinions, requests, proposals, etc. issued by participants at the inhabitant of a ward meeting and submit them as proposals and requests to the government. However, this year, in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we abandoned the conventional gathering and held a "local gathering" in writing. As a result, 773 opinions and requests gathered were scrutinized more than a dozen times, and proposals and requests to the government include the environment (2), garbage (6), anti-crime program (1), disaster prevention (1), private land and vacant houses (1), roads and traffic (6), elderly people (1), 5 people with disabilities (1), 5 (1), child care (1), and 5 (1). A total of 25 cases seem to be less than usual, but in fact, before issuing this proposal or request, dozens of cases requiring immediate action were reported directly to Hodogaya Public Works Office, Hodogaya police department, and City of Yokohama, Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau, and asked them to investigate and resolve the problems. In addition, this year, the deputy representative committee in charge went directly to the site of the problem, confirmed with his own eyes, and attached the photos taken at that time, so I am proud that the problem could be easier to understand. We are.
After this, the ward office will investigate and examine in detail in the department in charge of the problem, and receive an answer.

Director General responded to "Recommendations and Requests" in FY2020.

Representative committee member receiving answer book from Mayor Deguchi

At the Director General Office on February 25, 2021, Mr. Kobayashi, Representative of the Residents' Council, received a response from Mr. Director General Hodogaya on the recommendations and requests for the fiscal year 2020 document “Gathering of the Community”.
This year, from the viewpoint of preventing the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we have abandoned the "local gathering" in which everyone gathers at the venue as usual. However, there were many opinions that this COVID-19 pandemic might have the significance of "local gatherings" and eventually the event was held in writing. Opinions, suggestions and requests received from all of you were 513 (773). These were scrutinized over about two months from the end of October, compiled into 10 items (25 cases), and submitted to the ward office on December 15 as a proposal and request form. The departments in charge of the ward office, police department, fire department, etc. surveyed and examined each of these requests in detail as answers.
Answers will be made available to all of you through Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, and you can also see the full text on the residents' meeting website.
