24.I visited "Sakano Station Ponte" in the Ryokuen area

　On Saturday, July 17, while the bright sunshine shines from the summer sun, I visited Ryokuenzaka no Eki Ponte, which sells local vegetables in front of the entrance intersection of Midorizono-shi Station.
　This activity started in 2011 as one of the initiatives of the Ryokuen District Revitalization Committee, which consists of residents living in the Ryokuen district. We sell seasonal vegetables in cooperation with farmers in Izumi Ward.
　Before the opening of the store at 15:00, the locals began to gather and lined up. Some regulars say, "Because it's close, a wheelchair is okay," and others say, "The green soybeans I bought last time were delicious and I came again." After 10 years of activities launched to support locally grown and consumed and shopping, it seemed to have taken root. Above all, it was impressive that both those who bought and those who sold were having a bright smile enough to blow away the heat.
　This season ended on July 24. It is said that autumn is scheduled to start around October. We look forward to seeing what kind of vegetables and fruits you can meet.
