35.In a calm and bright year-I visited the New Year's ceremony hosted by the district.

　On January 8th and 9th, when COVID-19 infection was calm, New Year's ceremony was held in Kamiiida, Izumi-Chuo and Shirayuri districts. I narrowed down the number of participants, devised ways to hold greetings and introduction of events, and felt the passion of the local people to meet and celebrate the New Year in person with infection control.
　At the New Year's greetings in each district's New Year's ceremony, the chairman of the district association spoke in the greeting was that "I would like to carry out the same activities this year in cooperation with the entire region." It was a greeting that felt that I wanted to make it a livable area where everyone could live with peace of mind for everyone living in the area. .
　The Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations is the foundation of regional connections and support, and for that purpose, festivals and other events, which are places for mutual exchange among residents, are very important events. We would like to do what we can to do so that this infectious disease can calm down quickly and various activities in the community can be done without worrying about it. As a ward office, I would like to support the local community in various ways so that the Izumi Ward is active in local activities as before.
