Kanagawa Ward Contact Activities

In Kanagawa Ward, the Japan National Council of Social Welfare is the main body, and the local community conducts contact activities for those who are interested in the community.

In order for everyone to live with peace of mind in an area where they are accustomed to living, community development is important for people who care about their daily living areas.
Contact activities are one of the initiatives for that purpose.

The basis of contact activities is to carry out visits and watching to those who are worried in the area.

• Elderly people living alone (in this activity, elderly people are generally over 65 years old)
• Households with only elderly people
• Households with only the elderly during the day
• Elderly people who seem to have dementia
• Elderly people who need nursing care
• In addition, those who need to be watched in the area

※What kind of person to watch is determined by the community.
