The third "Futoo District Support Festival" was held at the Futoo anti-crime program Center on Saturday, March 14, 2009.
The event was threatened by the heavy rain and wind from the previous day, but the event was delayed by one hour and the event was successfully held.
This year, local welfare facilities "HIKARI" and "Wakusu Futoo" participated for the first time and excited the festival. In addition, the children's playground corner, which was popular last year, was a great success this year.
On Saturday, March 15, the Futoo District Support Festival was held at the Futoo anti-crime program Center.
This year, the second time, the children's playground corner has been enhanced. A large number of parents and children visited woodworking classes, origami, stilts, etc., and happily brought home the works and game prizes they made. In addition, mock shops and health consultations were also thriving, and there were long queues for selling local vegetables and freshly made rice cakes.
This event, which was blessed with good weather, seems to have been established as a place for exchange between local people.
On Sunday, November 11, 2007, the Kohoku Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan Project "Let's Know the Locals!" "Futoo Health Walking" was held.
Last year, we walked almost the entire town in two years, mainly on the west side of the town, and this year, mainly on the east side and neighboring areas. With the revised version of the "Futoo Convenience Map" issued in October, this event, which walks through disaster prevention bases, public institutions, and historic sites, not only discovers the charm of a new town, but also allows first-time participants to meet each other. It was fun to aim for a goal.
Unfortunately, Saturday, November 10, which was originally scheduled, was postponed to the next day due to unfortunate rain, but on the day, 65 people including volunteers participated. At the time of the walk, rice balls and a lot of pork juice were prepared, which was very popular with participants.

On Saturday, November 4, 2006, "Let's know the local area! "Futoo Health Walking" was held. On the day, a total of 65 participants and volunteers took a walk around the town for two hours with a friendly atmosphere. Around the Futoo Elementary School School District, we discovered an old guardian of children and travelers and observed how the town was prepared for disasters.
At the same time, we joined the participants of the “Walking Gathering” hosted by the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in the Futoo district at the goal point, and talked about delicious pork juice and rice balls.
Participants were surprised, "Is there such a place in the local area?", And it seems that not only deepened the interaction between the participants, but also had new discoveries in their town.
In the Futoo district, the Futoo district support liaison meeting, which has been working to resolve the issue of regional Health and Welfare Division, has been used as a forum for discussions on promoting district planning.
