Information on Tsunashima Area Initiatives
- We visit those who have registered for the "Disaster Prevention Support Card" (updated on August 19, 2008)
- We distributed "Disaster Prevention Support Card" (updated on October 23, 2007)
- During the "Tsunashima District Community Welfare and Health Plan Promotion Council" activity (updated October 23, 2007)
Last year, about 500 people supported the disaster prevention support card distributed to about 1,300 people in the district, and registered Address and names. After that, the Tsunashima District Community Welfare and Health Plan Promotion Council has been examining what kind of support will be provided to registered people.
The Council, in cooperation with the Neighborhood Association and the Council of Consumer Affairs Committees, has begun to visit registered persons. I have met with everyone directly to confirm that they are in trouble or anxious, and discuss be prepared for disaster. In addition, this time, we hand disaster prevention bags created by Tsunashima family disaster prevention staff. I think that it will be useful for disaster support by putting a whistle calling for help in the event of a disaster or a "disaster prevention support card" with your information in the disaster prevention bag.
Going forward, we will continue to visit regularly and consider a mechanism to support each other in the community in preparation for a disaster.
In the Tsunashima district, we distributed a "Disaster Prevention Support Card" to about 1,300 elderly people aged 78 and over living in the district. .
The purpose of this card is to identify those who need assistance in the event of a disaster. For those who have agreed to the initiative with this card, we will consider specific support methods in the future.
[Lecture]
In the Tsunashima area, we formed the Tsunashima Community Welfare and Health Plan Promotion Council last year and have regular discussions. .
With the goal of making Tsunashima a healthy and friendly town and protecting human lives, we are working to create a system for safety confirmation for the elderly and disabled living alone in preparation for emergencies such as disasters.
Last year, we held study sessions and lectures to prepare for disasters.
