About pre-examination vote

Pre-examination vouchers required for routine immunization will be mailed to your home.
If you do not receive it even if you reach the target age, please contact the following.

※Reception hours: From nine a.m. to five p.m. However, excluding Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, and New Year's holidays

In addition, the following people will be given at the counter, so please bring your mother and child handbook and your child's insurance card and come to Health Promotion Section (53rd floor on the 5th floor).

※In the case of moving to the city, you can use your pre-examination card as it is. Please correct the printed Address before using it.

When receiving routine immunization at a medical institution outside the city

If you receive routine vaccinations at a medical institution outside the city, such as returning home and giving birth, you will need to apply in advance.

In addition, child who has already started inoculation with four kinds of mixed vaccine and hib vaccine will, in principle, inoculate the remaining inoculation with the same vaccine (four kinds of mixed vaccine and hib vaccine).

About Vaccinations (internal site)

When the regular vaccination period has passed

Only in the following cases, it is possible to inoculate at public expense with documents issued after completing procedures at the ward office Health and Welfare Division Health Promotion Section window.
However, please note that it will take about one to two weeks from the procedure to the issuance of the documents, and will be sent by ordinary mail.
※ Please bring your pre-examination card, maternal and child health handbook, and health insurance card when applying.

1.If you exceed the age of regular vaccination due to a disease that requires medical treatment for a long period of time
※As it is necessary to judge whether the disease is eligible for the system, check with the ward office Health and Welfare Division Health Promotion Section if you are of the following age.

Two years from the day the vaccination became available ※However, the following vaccines are limited to the maximum age.
(1) Four kinds of mixture / five kinds of mixture ... until under 15 years old
(2) Hib: Until under 10 years old
(3) Streptococcus pneumoniae for children (13-valent, 15-valent): Until under 6 years old
(4) BCG: The upper limit age is up to 4 years old.

2.If you exceed the age of regular vaccination due to individual circumstances (forgot vaccination, etc.)
※ It will be treated as a voluntary vaccination, and Yokohama City's original relief system will be applied.

(1) Hepatitis B: Until under 3 years old (applicable from vaccination after April 2024)
(2) BCG: Up to 4 years old
(3) Chickenpox: Twice up to under 5 years old
(4) MR1: Up to 6th grade
(5) MR2: Up to 6th grade
(6) A mixture of two types: up to under 15 years old
